Whatever tasks you have in mind, here are some reasons to entrust them to me:
I have worked as a midwife in the NHS for over 25 years. Delivering babies, providing neonatal care and helping new mothers and fathers adapt to parenthood.
A service with a smile from someone who genuinely cares about and understands your problems. I care about people and will always take the time to do a job well.
I have been keeping animals for as long as I can remember , and there has always been a ‘menagarie’ of animals at home, including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, a donkey and even a Harris Hawk!
I have full public liability insurance, and offer a reliable and trustworthy service.
The idea to start the business came about when I realised that there was a genuine need in my local community for someone to offer trustworthy and flexible help. I used to look after my elderly father as he became more frail. I did his shopping and helped him to write letters as his sight deteriorated.
'Someone to offer
trustworthy and
flexible help.'
However, when I went away on short breaks with my family, it was almost impossible to find anyone to temporarily replace my role. He didn’t require a carer or social services input on a regular basis. He just needed a helping hand. I would have been so happy to find a business like Many-Poppins!
I grew up in Oswestry and after leaving college I joined the Diplomatic Service, working in London and overseas. On returning to Oswestry, I trained as a midwife and have cared for countless mothers and babies over the past 30 years.
'Animals have always
been part of
my life'
My husband and I have 3 children who are now all grown up and living in China, Korea and London. I am also an animal lover. Animals have always been part of my life and I currently have 2 horses, 3 cats and a dog.
